Cows are like big furnaces with all that feed fermenting in their stomachs. They produce great amount of heat. This Belted Galloway cow wasn't deterred by the winter weather yesterday. The cows spent much of the day outside even when there was nice cozy barn to stay in. The secret is to keep them out of the wind.
To all my farmer friends. I wish you warm and cozy home to go home too.
To the framers partners. I hope you made the farmer a good hot meal to warm them from the inside out.
